This is lsie Liao and Mayu Yu from Beijing, China. On Monday, they walked into their local registry to try and apply for a marriage license. As expected, they were turned away.

But instead of going quietly, the two girls fired so many questions about LGBT rights at the official that he “retreated into a back room”. Score.

uneamericaine: To counteract the demonstration against mariage pour tous that was held in Paris last Sunday, there is a manif for marriage equality this afternoon at 2pm.  It begins at Denfert-Rochereau and ends at Place de la Bastille.   You don’t have to be marching with French citizens to make a difference for French marriage equality!
